Cancellation

Our cancellation policy differs depending on how many rooms are reserved and what time of year the reservation is made.

For a weekend reservation (Friday and Saturday nights) for one to two rooms a credit card number is taken to hold the reservation. The total amount is due at check-in and can be made in cash, check or by credit card. The cancellation policy differs according to season and local events. During the months of January, February and August a cancellation notice of 48 hours is required for no penalty. During March, April, May, June, July, September, October, November and December (not including UGA football games, Madison tour weekends, UGA graduation, Madison Fest, Lake Oconee Jazz festival and holidays) a cancellation notice of 72 hours is required. For weekend reservations made on UGA home football game weekends, Madison tour weekends, UGA graduation, Madison Fest, Lake Oconee Jazz festival and holiday weekends a two week cancellation policy is extended. If the cancellation occurs after the policy notice the full amount of your reservation is charged to the holding credit card.

For a weekday reservation for one to two rooms a credit card number is taken to hold the reservation. The total amount is due at check-in and can be made in cash, by check or credit card. The cancellation notice of 48 hours must be given for no penalty.

For a full facility rental an initial deposit of $250 can be made to hold the date. This $250 deposit is refundable for 30 days provided the reservation is at least 3 months away. If the full facility is reserved, 50% is taken (minus the $250 holding deposit if one was collected) as a reservation deposit. The remainder due is taken at 60 days prior to the event. Cancellation is allowed up until 60 days prior to the event with $250 charged as a cancellation fee and a refund of 50% (minus the $250 holding deposit if one was collected) can be issued. If the full facility rental is cancelled after the 60 day notice the full amount is charged for the facility reservation. If a full facility reservation is made less than 2 months away the full amount is due with the reservation and is not refundable if a cancellation occurs.

For a reservation for 3 days up to 2 weeks a deposit of 50% is taken at the reservation. The final due is taken at check in and can be made in cash, by check or credit card. The cancellation notice of 2 weeks is required for no penalty. If the cancellation occurs after the 2 week notice the full amount of the reservation is charged to the holding credit card.
