Saturday wake up to a delicious Derby Day Champagne Breakfast while enjoying the relaxed accommodations and rich outdoor experiences here on the farm. Spend the morning hiking miles of private forest and meadow trails, canoeing the Apalachee River and the headwaters of Lake Oconee, or fishing the two stocked ponds.

Derby Day is an annual event held by the Madison-Morgan Conservancy and this year it will be held at neighboring Goose Creek Farm, just a mile up the road from us here at the Farmhouse Inn. The inn will be glad to provide transportation to and from the Derby Day Party which this year celebrates the Kentucky Derby’s tradition of great food, beautiful fashions, and of course mint juleps! Mother’s Day Weekend Special

Moms are very special people. They hold a place in our hearts reserved just for them. So we are offering a Mother’s Day Brunch at the Farmhouse Inn complete with a sumptuous menu featuring fresh farm ingredients, locally grown and/or organic produce. We include vegetarian and glutton-free options and are glad to accommodate other dietary restrictions or preferences. There will be a bouquet of fresh cut flowers for each mother. Choose your dishes in advance from our menu and come, sit back, and enjoy. We will serve from 11am until 1pm for the after church crowd. Take advantage of the opportunity to visit our Barnyard animals, extensive walking trails, ponds, and the Apalachee River where it enters Lake Oconee. Special 2-night package includes brunch for 2 and flowers in your room upon arrival. Please make reservation before May 9th and mention the Mother’s Day Weekend Special.
