Sweet Southern Charm Wedding featured on Once Like a Spark

Excerpt:

Sophie + Jamie’s wedding at the Old Church at Oxford College of Emory U and The Farmhouse Inn in Madison, GA is everything we love about a sweet, southern wedding.  It has charm, elegance, and that certain sweetness that only southerners seem to know how to pull off.  😉  S + J have photos together in front of a white chapel built in 1841, photos next to an old rusting bus, and then to top it all off – photos in front of a tree complete with tire swing. It just doesn’t get more perfect than that in our books!! We loved each moment of your GORGEOUS wedding day, S + J – and we are so, so happy for you two!! xoxo!

Picturesque Country Wedding featured on Michelle Scott Photo

This wedding is nothing short than magical..if not epic.  Colleen and Josh choose The Farmhouse Inn nestled away in quaint Madison, GA.  Being from Washington D.C., this was a great change of scenery and they got to enjoy a fun road trip for the drive to down.  I can’t get over all the cute details, and the farm landscape with all it’s fun little animal friends.  Nothing less than wild turkeys and chickens walking around.   Everyone who came out for the wedding were mostly out of town, and you could tell Colleen and Josh had a close group of friends and family supporting them.  I had to catch myself a few moments along the day from tearing up (I’m such a sap!)..like the first look with her dad or their personal handwritten vows.  I couldn’t ask for a better setting for their pictures, and honestly I think we got some mind blowing ones.  Especially in the field with all the wildflowers and the sun setting on our backs.   Swoon… can we do it all over again!

Rustic Farm Wedding featured on Style Me Pretty

Excerpt:

Style Me Pretty is getting a big ol’ dose of rustic charm this morning and it comes in the form of a boot clad bride (oh how we love that). We happen to be strong believers in wearing boots for every occasion – especially at a pretty farm wedding in Georgia. It just sort of fits the bill, don’t you think? Gresham Photography is to be thanked for capturing so many pretty pictures and don’t forget there is even more to oh and ah over in the gallery. So grab a cup of coffee and go peruse your hearts out.

Meadow Garden Wedding featured on Style Me Pretty

Excerpt:

I’m loving the soft color palette of this pretty, farm wedding. The flowers, the dresses, the cute-as-can-be gingham bow ties on the adorable aisle attendants, they go together so sweetly! This wedding also has a lot of history as well…the bride chose to rock some pretty fab earrings that were passed down from the 1800’s and the ring bearer pillow was handmade by the groom’s mother from her very own wedding gown. How special! Melissa Schollaert Photography was on hand to capture all the pretty and meaningful details. Click here for even more!

Laid Back Nature Wedding featured on Style Me Pretty

Excerpt:

Not only am I totally in love with this organic, farm wedding, I’m totally smitten with this adorable couple as well. I love the fact that they designed and created their invitations together and wrote their own, super personal vows. No Regrets Events designed this perfectly intimate and laid back affair while Adam Nash Photography snapped up all the pretty. And you can see it all right here.

Testimonials

"The first time I got out of my car in front of the Farmhouse, I knew we had found It. Everything we dreamed about for Maggie’s wedding was here; the serenity, the natural beauty, the rolling hills and woods, and yes, even the roosters crowing. All the special touches placed everywhere made our guests feel special and welcome. No one wanted to leave. What we all look for, a place of refuge to escape our hectic lives, is at the Farmhouse. Rarely do dreams that we attempt to create actually come true, but ours did last weekend. We are so grateful for those memories of Frisbee on the meadow, fishing poles dangling in the lake, music and friends around the bonfire, and wiffle ball for the children. Melinda and Crystal, I will be back!"
Linda, mother of bride, Atlanta, GA

"We owe you the biggest thank you! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Besides the fact that the farm is absolutely beautiful, you were truly wonderful in helping us get everything we wanted in to place. We thank you for allowing us to have our wedding there and for being so helpful through the process. There is absolutely nothing we would do differently. From the bottom of my heart we thank you for all you did for us. Now, our dream is to come back for a nights stay on our one year anniversary. "
Amanda, bride, Dallas, GA

"Come meet me under the oak tree You will be able to find me there Smelling of jasmine flowers As I have weaved them through my hair~ Right after we got engaged we started thinking about what type of wedding we'd like to have, starting with the setting- the venue. I started looking up pictures online for inspiration knowing we wanted an outdoor wedding. We did look for venues by a lake and even thought about a beach wedding, ,ut once I found photos online of tree ceremonies that is what sealed the deal that I was going to marry my sweetheart under a big, old, grand tree. Something symbolic of deep rooted love that grows. We chose The Farmhouse Inn at Hundred Acre Farm in Madison GA because we found our kissing tree there!
The Farm’s heart and soul for us is the oak tree. Under this tree we will exchange our vows and become man and wife. It's our tree of life, our kissing tree...it's this tree, towards which I will make my way down to my groom and my future, waiting for me under the magnificent branches of this beautiful romantic old oak tree. "

Angali, Bride, Roswell, GA

"I just had to write and tell you again what a wonderful and relaxing time we had. The Farmhouse Inn was the perfect setting for Leigh's wedding. When I wake up during the night my thoughts are about how wonderful everything was and where things were placed and how everything flowed so well. The rentals you used had such nice, clean chairs and the tent with the specialty lighting was beautiful. There is not one thing we would have changed. It was a pleasure to get to know your mom and aunt as well. Thank you!"
Robin, mother of bride, Conyers, Ga
